Missouri Home Electrification Rebates (HEAR)
Expected 2027 or later
Missouri is setting up the federally funded home electrification rebate program run by the Department of Natural Resources. It has not opened yet, and the state has said it may not launch before 2027. Panel upgrades are expected to be an eligible upgrade for income-qualified households, but amounts and rules are not final.

Ameren Missouri Programs
Varies
Ameren Missouri's energy efficiency programs mostly rebate equipment like heat pumps and smart thermostats, not the panel itself. If your panel upgrade is part of a heat pump or EV charger project, check Ameren's current programs before you start.

Federal Tax Credit (25C)
Ended
The federal energy efficient home improvement credit, which covered panel upgrades done with qualifying electrification, ended for work placed in service after December 31, 2025. It is not available for new projects.
